Adaptation to poststroke fatigue in stroke survivors and their care partners: a scoping review
CONCLUSIONS: Stroke survivors had many types of challenges and strategies for fatigue adaptation. Survivors received family, employer, and colleague support but how care partners help survivors develop new skills is unknown. Stroke survivors expressed that healthcare professionals need to teach survivors and care partners basic knowledge of fatigue that meet their personal needs and provide adaptive interventions for survivors. Lack of Impact of Electronic Health Records on Quality of Care and Outcomes for Ischemic Stroke
ConclusionsIn our sample of GWTG-Stroke hospitals, EHRs were not associated with higher-quality care or better clinical outcomes for stroke care. Although EHRs may be necessary for an increasingly high-tech, transparent healthcare system, as currently implemented, they do not appear to be sufficient to improve outcomes for this important disease.

Cognitive rehabilitation for memory deficits after stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: Participants who received cognitive rehabilitation for memory problems following a stroke reported benefits from the intervention on subjective measures of memory in the short term (i.e. the first assessment point after the intervention, which was a minimum of four weeks). This effect was not, however, observed in the longer term (i.e. the second assessment point after the intervention, which was a minimum of three months). Central Poststroke Pain: Its Profile among Stroke Survivors in Kano, Nigeria.
CONCLUSION: Prevalence of CPSP following stroke is low. The clinical features are variable and can occur at a varied time and different intensities and locations. However, it majorly occurs within the first few months post stroke.

Abstract 245: Assessing Patient Knowledge and Satisfaction Following Stroke Video Education Session Title: Poster Session PM
Conclusions: Based on this preliminary data, stroke patients enjoy video education in clinic. However, as patients in both groups were highly satisfied, it remains unclear whether video education increases overall satisfaction. Highly educated patients may bennefit from video education, but further enrollment will clarify this. A positive correlation between post-visit test score and satisfaction indicates that clinics should prioritize patient education.

Assessing the fidelity of the independently getting up off the floor (IGO) technique as part of the ReTrain pilot feasibility randomised controlled trial for stroke survivors
CONCLUSIONS: IGO was successfully and safely practised by stroke survivors including those with hemiparesis. Trainers should be aware of comorbidities that may impede completion of IGO and modify teaching to accommodate individual need.
