Association between serum bilirubin and asymptomatic intracranial atherosclerosis: results from a population-based study
ConclusionTbil, Dbil, and Ibil might be independent protective factors for aICAS and moderate-to-severe aICAS in rural-dwelling Chinese people, especially among older participants aged ≥ 60 years.

Hemodynamic Significance of Middle Cerebral Artery Stenosis Associated With the Severity of Ipsilateral White Matter Changes
Conclusion: Patients with hemodynamically more severe ICAS are more likely to have more severe ipsilateral WMC. Longitudinal studies with sequential imaging exams may further reveal the impact of hemodynamic significance of ICAS on the development and progression of WMC.

Cerebrovascular Disease in COVID-19 ADULT BRAIN
We report a case of COVID-19 with acute ischemic stroke. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of COVID-19-related cerebral infarcts that includes brain imaging at multiple time points and CT angiography. There is a growing body of published evidence that complications of COVID-19 are not limited to the pulmonary system. Neuroradiologists should be aware of a wide range of neurologic manifestations, including cerebrovascular disease.

Fasting Plasma Glucose and Coronary Heart Disease in a Rural Population of North Henan, China.
In conclusion, among the nondiabetic women in rural areas of northern Henan, both the incidence of CHD and the severity of lesions increased when FPG levels were greater than 5.2 mmol/L, while no significant correlation between FPG and CHD was observed in diabetes-free men. PMID: 33101438 [PubMed]

Long-Term Risk Factors for Intracranial In-Stent Restenosis From a Multicenter Trial of Stenting for Symptomatic Intracranial Artery Stenosis Registry in China
Conclusions: The longer stents, balloon-mounted stents implanted in the intracranial vertebral or basilar artery, and local anesthesia were significantly associated with in-stent restenosis. Further studies are required to identify accurate biomarkers or image markers associated with ISR in ICAS patients.Clinical Trial Registration:www.ClinicalTrials.gov, identifier: NCT01968122.

Association between homocysteine and white matter hyperintensities in rural ‐dwelling Chinese people with asymptomatic intracranial arterial stenosis: A population‐based study
ConclusionSerum Hcy concentration may be positively associated with the volume of WMH in rural-dwelling Chinese people with moderate-to-severe (stenosis ≥50%) aICAS.

Basilar dolichoectasia with intermural hematoma accompanied by cerebral microbleeds and white matter hyperintensities: A case report
Rationale: The clinical manifestations of basilar dolichoectasia (BD) are variable. The diagnosis is based on imaging measurements. Digital subtraction angiography displays only the dilated vascular lumen and lacks visualization of the arterial wall. High-resolution Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can identify intramural hematoma; therefore, it may be more suitable for the imaging evaluation of BD. However, most of the existing literature pertaining to BD lacks vascular wall assessment. Patient concerns: A 65-year-old Chinese man perceived weakness of the left upper and lower limb, double vision, dizziness, nau...

Atypical Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome in a Postpartum Woman With Moyamoya Disease: A Case Report and Literature Review
Conclusions:This patient was diagnosed with reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome related to moyamoya disease. This case highlights that atypical posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome can occur in patients with moyamoya disease, and should be considered for the differential diagnosis of cerebral infarcts and hemorrhage in a postpartum female.

The efficacy and safety of quantitative flow ratio-guided complete revascularization in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and multivessel disease: A pilot randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSIONS: In conclusion, STEMI and MVD patients can benefit from QFR-G-CR of non-IRA lesions in the initial stages of acute MI. This can help reduce incidences of major adverse cardiovascular events and unstable angina, relative to IRA treatment only.
