Conclusion Neurological involvement is a common complication of PSV (Table 1), and neurologists play an important role in the identification and diagnosis of PSV patients with otherwise unexplained neurological symptoms as their chief complaint. Allergic sensitization to pegylated interferon‐α results in drug eruptions
ConclusionsOur results indicate that specific sensitizations are one cause of exanthemas under therapy with pegylated interferons. Clinical proof‐of‐concept analyses demonstrate that affected patients may benefit from a switch to conventional, non‐pegylated drugs, enabling interferon‐α therapy continuation without drug‐associated skin eruptions.This article is protected by copyright.
