Enhanced Detection of Edema in Malignant Anterior Circulation Stroke (EDEMA) Score Brief Report
Conclusions—The EDEMA score identifies patients at high risk for potentially lethal malignant edema. Although it requires external validation, this scale could help expedite triage decisions in this patient population.

Vascular Territories of Ischemic Stroke in Associated Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy (P1.221)
Conclusions: TC is a reversible cardiomyopathy that has an association with ischemic stroke. This condition can notably be both the cause and effect of stroke. Ischemic stroke of the left middle cerebral artery appears to be the most prevalent. Identifying Gaps and Missed Opportunities for Intravenous Thrombolytic Treatment of Inpatient Stroke
Conclusion: In our study, one in three ISC were true strokes. IVT treatment rates were low with a MTO of 1 in 6 IVT-eligible patients. The most common reason for not treating was NIHSS ≤4. Knowing predictors of true stroke and the common barriers to IVT treatment can help narrow this treatment gap.

Safety of Low Dose Intravenous Cangrelor in Acute Ischemic Stroke: A Case Series
Conclusion: Low dose intravenous cangrelor is similar in safety and efficacy to oral antiplatelets in acute ischemic stroke in a small case series. Larger prospective studies on the efficacy, safety, and effect on procedure times of intravenous cangrelor in neurointervention are warranted.

Repeated Mechanical Thrombectomy in the Same Intracranial Artery Segment
We report a patient with an important scenario that may arise in the management of an acute ischemic stroke: the need for a repeated mechanical thrombectomy in the same intracranial artery segment. The patient had a history of atrial fibrillation and a mechanical mitral valve replacement. In her first stroke, she had an occlusion of the proximal segment of the right middle cerebral artery; 58 days later, she presented with an occlusion in the same segment of that cerebral artery. In both instances, the thrombus was extracted by a stent retriever with good clinical and radiographic results.

Pediatric Cortical Vein Thrombosis: Frequency and Association With Venous Infarction Brief Reports
Conclusions— In our cohort, CVT was significantly associated with seizures at presentation, hemorrhage and restricted diffusion on acute imaging, as well as neurological disability and venous infarction at follow-up. Involvement of cortical veins in cerebral sinovenous thrombosis is associated with an increased risk of infarction and adverse outcome in children.

Functional Outcome After Perinatal Cerebral Sinovenous Thrombosis: A Prospective Cohort Study (S42.006)

Contrast induced encephalopathy mimicking reperfusion injury (P3.285)

Compliance with Early Use of Prophylactic Anticoagulation after Intracerebral Hemorrhage (P02.047)

Pediatric cavernous sinus thrombosis: A case series and review of the literature
Conclusion: Our case series demonstrates low morbidity and mortality with early, aggressive surgical, antimicrobial, and anticoagulation therapies. Although anticoagulation and surgery were not associated with significantly different outcomes, more study is needed.
