Recanalisation therapies for wake-up stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: There is insufficient evidence from randomised controlled trials for recommendations concerning recanalisation therapies for wake-up stroke. Disappearance of the hyperdense MCA sign after stroke thrombolysis: implications for prognosis and early patient selection for clot retrieval.
Conclusion Disappearance of HMCAS is associated with better clinical and radiological outcomes. A shorter thrombus is more likely to disappear postthrombolysis. The data highlight the limitation of intravenous thrombolysis in patients with longer hyperattenuated vessels, and the potential role for clot retrieval in such patients. Thrombolytic removal of intraventricular haemorrhage in treatment of severe stroke: results of the randomised, multicentre, multiregion, placebo-controlled CLEAR III trial

Recurrent cerebellar infarction associated with hereditary heterozygous protein C deficiency in a 35-year-old woman: A case report and genetic study on the pedigree.

Atrial myxoma with cerebellar signs: a case report
ConclusionAlthough rare, atrial myxoma has to be considered a cause of stroke and other embolic phenomenon causing multiorgan infarctions. Early and timely diagnosis of the condition can prevent further recurrence and inappropriate anticoagulant therapy. It would be pertinent to have echocardiography done in patients who present with a stroke, arrhythmias, and other constitutional symptoms. The tumor once detected must be removed surgically as early as possible, which not only reduces serious thromboembolic complications but can be potentially curative.
