Racial differences in association of serum calcium with mortality and incident cardio- and cerebrovascular events.
CONCLUSIONS: Race modified the U-shaped association between calcium and all-cause mortality. Serum calcium is not associated with incident stroke or CHD in neither AA nor white patients. High androgens in postmenopausal women and the risk for atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease: the Rotterdam Study.

ConclusionsThere are several differences in the phenotype, biochemical parameters, and prevalence of diabetic complications between patients with FCPD and T2DM. Timely diagnosis may have implications in the follow-up and management of patients.
