Predicting the risk of stroke in patients with late-onset epilepsy: A machine learning approach
CONCLUSION: The stroke risk in patients with epilepsy was relatively high and could be predicted based on comorbidities such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, heart failure, and alcohol dependence. Neurological manifestations of patients infected with the SARS-CoV-2: a systematic review of the literature
ConclusionThis updated review of literature, shows that headache, skeletal muscle injury, psychiatric disorders, impaired consciousness, and gustatory/olfactory dysfunction were the most common neurological symptoms of COVID-19 patients. Impaired consciousness and acute cerebrovascular events were significantly higher among patients with a severe infection. AIS patients required ICU admission in 63% of cases, while intra-hospital mortality rate was close to 23%.

Arterial Ischemic Stroke —Peculiarities of Clinical Presentation and Risk Factors in Indian Children

We retrospectively reviewed data on 95 children (69 boys), aged 3 months to 17 years, with AIS. Focal signs were noted in 84 (88%) with hemiparesis in 72 (76%). Endovascular Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke in Clinical Practice: Analysis of Workflow and Outcome in a Tertiary Care Center
Conclusion: The analysis revealed several starting points for an improvement in the workflow of thrombectomy in our center. Analyses of workflow and treatment results should be carried out regularly to identify the potential for optimization of operational procedures and selection criteria for patients who could benefit from endovascular treatment.
