Prospective study of consecutive patch testing in patients with contact dermatitis using an adapted Latin American baseline series
Conclusions. This study demonstrated a detailed profile of a population with suspected allergic contact dermatitis. Allergy - Patients with Atopic Dermatitis Express Themselves Through a Questionnaire.
Conclusion: A total of 26.4% of survey respondents reported having doctor-diagnosed allergies. Among these patients, half reported having AD during childhood, and 1/3 reported having a current AD. Atopic Dermatitis in the Pediatric Population: A Cross-sectional, International, Epidemiologic Study.

Allergic sensitization pattern of patients in Brazil.
CONCLUSION: Studies on the pattern of allergic sensitization to a specific population offer tools for the more effectual prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of allergic diseases. Sensitization to dust mites house was the most prevalent in the evaluated sample. High rates of sensitization to furry animals also stand out. Patients with food allergy, atopic dermatitis, or multimorbidity appear to be at greater risk for developing more severe allergic diseases. PMID: 32986999 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Gut microbiota of children with atopic dermatitis: Controlled study in the metropolitan region of S ão Paulo, Brazil.
CONCLUSIONS: This study confirmed that children living in the metropolitan area of São Paulo (Brazil) with AD have a different microbiota pattern with higher prevalence of C. difficile, lower abundance of Lactobacillus and greater abundance of bifidobacteria, regardless of socioeconomic status.
