Severity strata for POEM, PO-SCORAD and DLQI in US adults with atopic dermatitis.
CONCLUSION: Existing strata for DLQI performed well in a population-based cohort of adult AD. The optimal severity strata for the POEM in our AD population varies slightly from those previously published for AD. This may suggest that different strata may be optimal in different study settings and cohorts. Finally, we proposed new strata for PO-SCORAD in adult AD. Adverse events in oral immunotherapy for the desensitization of cow’s milk allergy in children: a randomized controlled trial
ConclusionAlthough the majority of ARs during OIT are non anaphylactic, AARs occur frequently. Children with higher sIgE for alpha-lactalbumine and casein at baseline seem to be at higher risk for AARs during OIT.

A Rare Case of Hyper IgE Syndrome with Vocal Cords Involvement.
Abstract Hyperimmunoglobulin E syndrome (HIGE) is considered as a phagocytic or a newly classified complex and heterogeneous primary immunodeficiency disease with symptoms such as increased levels of immunoglobulin E, eczema, and, recurrent lung and skin infections. In this paper, we have presented a rare case of this syndrome. A 9-year-old Iranian girl presented with a history of pruritic maculopapular rash who was eventually diagnosed as a case of HIGE. In her recent admission, she had dysphonia, stridor and huge cauliflower cutaneous lesions on her neck, finger and vocal cords, which did not respond to intraven...

Racial Disparities in Allergic Outcomes Persist to Age 10 Years in Black and White Children.
CONCLUSION: Racial differences persisted in this cohort through age 10 years. Future studies should include potentially important, but rarely studied factors such as segregation and structural racism as these factors could explain the observed racial differences.
