AbstractThe present study examined 22 specific stressful life events (SLEs) in relation to recent and prospective suicidal thoughts and behaviors (STBs). The effect of assessment method (self-report vs. chart-based ratings) and inpatient/outpatient status was also investigated. Dissociative Trait as a Mediator of Problematic Internet Use in Children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity Disorder and Learning Disabilities
Conclusions: Dissociative absorption was found to be a mediating factor between childhood diagnosis and PIU and can be used as a screening indicator in prevention programs to reduce the duration and severity of PIU in childre n diagnosed with ADHD and LDs.
