Transection of the supraclavicular nerve (SCN) through supraclavicular incisions can lead to debilitating neuroma formation. Targeted muscle reinnervation (TMR) proved to be an effective technique for the prevention and treatment of neuroma. In this case series, we propose the TMR of the SCN to the motor branch of the omohyoid muscle (OM) to prevent the formation of neuroma and avoid chronic pain at the supraclavicular area after thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) procedures. Nonsurgical Treatment of Neuralgia and Cervicogenic Headache: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis
Conclusions:
The nonsurgical treatment of patients with neuralgia or cervicogenic headache is challenging. Injection therapy in patients with these types of headaches achieved good pain relief but only for a limited time. We report a unique case of Minnaar type 2 LTC in a 20-year-old man with a 6-year history of daily right wrist pain and symptomatic wrist instability whose previous conservative therapies failed. Midcarpal instability and volar intercalated segment instability—volar flexion of the lunate—were present. Breaking Barriers to Breast Reconstruction among Socioeconomically Disadvantaged Patients at a Large Safety-net Hospital
Conclusions:
Barriers remain for socioeconomically disadvantaged patients to be eligible for, undergo, and complete breast reconstruction. Obesity, diabetes, smoking, and poor overall health were identified as the main barriers and were associated with racial minorities, government-based insurance, and lower incomes. Concerted effort through multidisciplinary teams is needed to maximize eligibility of socioeconomically disadvantaged breast cancer patients for reconstruction. High Surgical Complication Rates after Silicone Implant Use for Improvement of Glans Ridge Appearance

Patients and surgeons should be aware of the possibility of a novel silicone implant technique to create a glansplasty in those with failed/flattened previous glansplasty surgery. Cleft Lip Repair Competence Can Be Evaluated with High-fidelity Simulation

High-fidelity simulation paired with an appropriate procedure-specific assessment tool has the construct validity to evaluate performance for cleft lip repair.
