A Preliminary Study of the Effects of a Multitheory-Driven Intervention in Adults With Prediabetes Mellitus
Background: Prediabetes mellitus (pre-DM) is an important predictive indicator of Type 2 diabetes. A person with pre-DM is eight times more likely to develop diabetes than a person without pre-DM. Psychometric Properties of the Chinese Version of the Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion/Recovery Scale: A Test in a Nursing Population
Conclusions/Implications for Practice: OFER is a reliable and valid instrument for assessing work-related fatigue in Chinese nurses. However, further improvement of the acute fatigue subscale is recommended. The OFER has the potential to elicit information that is useful for assessing fatigue in nurses in China. Furthermore, as it differentiates between acute and chronic fatigue, OFER may be an effective tool for guiding the development and implementation of various, related intervention measures. Factor Structure of the Quality of Life Scale for Mental Disorders in Patients With Schizophrenia
Conclusions/Implications for Practice: Our results supported the unidimensionality and eight-factor structure of the 43-item QOLMD. The sum score for each of the domains may be used to reflect its domain-specific function. We recommend using the 43-item QOLMD to capture the multiple domains of HRQOL. However, the second-order model showed an unsatisfactory model fit. Furthermore, caution is advised when interpreting overall HRQOL using the total score for the eight domains.
