Sleep and Professional Burnout in Nurses, Nursing Technicians, and Nursing Assistants During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Conclusions/Implications for Practice The findings indicate that the incidence of sleep disorders and burnout were high among nursing professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic and mainly related with starting to use sleep medication. The results demonstrate the importance of detecting and assessing the frequency of sleep disorders and professional exhaustion. Functional Status in Older Persons After Hip Fracture Surgery: A Longitudinal Study of Indonesian Patients
Conclusions/Implications for Practice The findings of this study support the effectiveness of using presurgery assessments to identify individuals at a higher postdischarge risk of having poor PADL and IADL outcomes. Home nursing or subacute rehabilitation is recommended to improve and maintain functional status in older persons after hip fracture surgery. In addition, interventions and rehabilitation should take into consideration different recovery periods for PADL and IADL after hospital discharge after hip fracture surgery. Psychometric Evaluation of the Korean Version of the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy-Fatigue
This study used data collected from 170 patients with cancer and 120 healthy individuals. Internal consistency reliability was analyzed using Cronbach's α and item–total correlation.
