Exploring Cultural Health Practices at a Midwestern University
This study investigated complementary health practices (CHPs) at a Midwestern state university to examine regional usage rates. Survey to Assess Interest in a Mindfulness Intervention at a Midwifery and Women's Health Clinic
We conducted a voluntary survey among ethnically and socioeconomically diverse women. About half of the respondents reported experiencing at least one health issue; over half were interested in attending a mindfulness class to reduce stress. Predictors of Yangsaeng (Health Management) Among Korean Middle-Aged Adults
This study aimed to examine and identify the predictors of Yangsaeng (health management) among Korean middle-aged adults. A cross-sectional descriptive design was employed. Study participants consisted of 150 middle-aged adults in S and G cities, South Korea. Measures included the Yangsaeng scale, the perceived health state scale, the self-efficacy scale, the Beck Depression Inventory, and the family support scale. The analyses showed that the prediction model for Yangsaeng (health management) among Korean middle-aged adults was significant. Mindfulness in a Graduate Nursing Curriculum: A Randomized Controlled Study
