Adagrasib Treatment After Sotorasib-Related Hepatotoxicity in Patients With < em > KRAS < /em > < sup > G12C < /sup > -Mutated Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: A Case Series and Literature Review
CONCLUSION: Adagrasib may have a distinct hepatotoxicity profile from sotorasib and is more easily combined with CPIs either sequentially or concurrently. These differences may be used to inform clinical decisions regarding an initial KRASG12C inhibitor for patients who recently discontinued a CPI or experience hepatotoxicity on sotorasib.PMID:38579193 | DOI:10.1200/PO.23.00644 (Source: Ann Oncol)

Administration of teclistamab in four patients with multiple myeloma requiring hemodialysis
CONCLUSIONS: Due to the complexity of this patient population, close monitoring and multidisciplinary care are crucial. This approach is essential for effectively managing MM patients with renal dysfunction and for exploring novel treatment options.PMID:38576408 | DOI:10.1177/10781552241242022 (Source: Ann Oncol)

Variation in management of lymph node positive prostate cancer after radical prostatectomy within a statewide quality improvement consortium
CONCLUSIONS: The majority pN+ patients receive treatment within 12 months post-RP which was associated with high-risk pathological features and post-RP PSA. Variation in management of pN+ disease highlights the uncertainty regarding the optimal management. Understanding which patients will benefit from secondary treatment, and which type, will be critical to minimize variation in care.PMID:38570271 | DOI:10.1016/j.urolonc.2024.03.015 (Source: Ann Oncol)

BREAST-Q REACT: Qualitative Assessment of the Design, Functionality, and Clinical Utility of a New Score Interpretation Tool
CONCLUSION: Patients and providers in this qualitative study indicated that with some modifications, REACT has a great potential to elevate the clinical utility of the BREAST-Q by enhancing patient-provider communication that can lead to patient-centered, clinically relevant action recommendations based on longitudinal BREAST-Q scores.PMID:38570377 | DOI:10.1245/s10434-024-15185-0 (Source: Ann Oncol)

Changes in the Urinary Microbiome After Transurethral Resection of Non-muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer: Insights from a Prospective Observational Study
CONCLUSIONS: In patients with low-grade NMIBC, the urine microbiome undergoes changes over time after removal of the tumor. The microbiome detected in tumor tissues is more phylogenetically diverse than in paired urine samples collected at TURBT. The interplay between bladder microbiome, tumor microbiome, and their alterations requires further studies to elucidate their predictive value and perhaps therapeutic implications.PMID:38570378 | DOI:10.1245/s10434-024-15198-9 (Source: Ann Oncol)
