Prevalence of endocrine disorders in 304 premenopausal women referred with oligomenorrhoea
CONCLUSIONS: We found higher prevalence of CS in patients with oligomenorrhoea even in the absence of clinical signs. Therefore, we suggest routine screening for CS during the evaluation of patients with oligomenorrhoea and/or PCOS. Cardiovascular risk in women with nonclassical congenital adrenal hyperplasia
CONCLUSION: Adult females with NCAH did not show increased CVR using methodologies for detection of precocious atherosclerosis. Although patients receiving dexamethasone therapy had increased IL-6 and 8 levels, these data were not associated with radiological markers of atherosclerosis.
