Chad's Funny Quotes
I'm going through Chad's videos a second time, and I forgot how fun his videos are. For those of you currently going through these videos, post your favorite quotes below! "Anybody remember the first thing we teach the teaching assistants at ASU? ...How to erase the board. Up and down, never side to side, why? Because if you erase the board side to side, your butt wiggles back and forth." (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Chad's Videos Free Now?
Hi guys, I just went to Chad's official website (chadsvideos.com) and it seems that he recently updated and uploaded DAT/OAT videos and a subscription is no longer needed through coursesaver. I haven't had a chance to go through them yet, but are these the same videos that you pay a $50 subscription for on coursesaver? http://chadsvideos.com/?course=general-chemistry-for-the-datoat (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Chad's Videos on coursesaver
Hey! First Question-- I'm aware that Chad is in some sort of dispute with course saver, but his videos are still on the course saver website. I wanted to purchase a 30 day subscription for his videos on course saver-- and tried multiple times to make a purchase-- but the website wouldn't let me. Is anyone else having trouble with this? Or his videos on course saver no longer available for purchase? Second Question-- Also, I originally wanted to use the organic chem, gen chem, and QR... Question about starting DAT studies.
So I just started to study for the DAT. I'm currently using Chad's videos from coursesaver, cliff's AP bio complemented with Feralis Notes, DAT Bootcamp for practice and PAT, and I'm also taking Dr. Romano's course which starts next wednesday. I'm reading chapter 1 of Cliff's right now and rewording Feralis notes to help me understand and memorize. I'm also doing Chad's videos (gone through couple sub sections), and used DAT Bootcamp for PAT and RC. Should I still follow Ari's study guide... Question about starting DAT studies. doing LOGS in your head?
Hey guys, I just watched Chad's genchem video on pH & pOH. When he asks you to calculate: pH = -log(8.6 x 10^-6), Chad very easily does the -log of this number in his head by approximating. However, his method really confuses me and with the pressure of the DAT and the time constraints, I don't think doing it his way is a choice for me. What tricks do you guys know to be able to calculate logs in your head? How do you do it!? I really wish we could use a calculator on this part, blah... doing LOGS in your head? Coursesaver DAT
For chad's videos for DAT it cost 50$ for 30 days. Is this correct. Also the page offers all ochem videos & genchem videos & some QR. Just wanted to make sure this is the right source Thanks Also are chad's bio videos useful? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

DAT Done!! Thank you SDN!! 10/22/2013
Hi all, just had my D-day today, and it feels great to take this humangus beeg step. I’ve been a long time lurker around the forum. Time to give back to the community and pay it forward with my own DAT experience. :D Results: 23 BIO 26 GC 27 OC 24 PAT 23 RC 24 QR 25 TS 25 AA Timed Runs I used Bootcamp and qVault for full timed runs to practice my pacing. I had 5 full timed runs, with the rest broken up as diagnostics. Overall practice average is on par with my results. Bootcamp definitely has the most detailed explanation to learn from in all sections. qVault biology has great explanations, but PAT answers could use mor...

Am I picking my study materials wisely?
I've been reading this board for the last week or so trying to figure out what to get, it's kind of overwhelming because some people recommend one thing and some people another so it's hard to gauge what is considered good. I'm trying to keep it minimal and not go crazy with loads of different resources. Does this seem like a good approach? TBR - Physics and Gen Chem EK - Bio, O-Chem, Verbal Chad's videos/quizzes for all sciences AAMC tests I don't know if it's true but what I gathered is TBR is quite tough (maybe too tough for Bio?). So I split them up so I could try EK and TBR...not sure if that's a good idea (Source...

DAT Gold Standard
I was just wondering if anyone has tried the DAT Gold standard book. Is it any good? I'm about to shed out money for DAT study materials and I don't want to waste money (I will be getting Chad videos and DAT destroyer later on) Is the Kaplan BB better? (Source: Student Doctor Network Forums)

Dat 8/8/13
LIttle late posting my thoughts on this. I wasn't going to make one of these but since I didn't use DAT Destroyer, Math Destroyer, Crack PAT, TopScore, Achiever, or any of the other great resources, I figured my strategy and breakdown can benefit others studying for the DAT on a budget. I spent $130 in total on Chads (60 day subscription) and datQVault's PAT. Scores QR 22 (97.9) RC 21 (76.7) BIO 20 (88.0) GC 19 :bang: (73.3) OC 27  (98.7) TS 21 (91.6) AA 22 (97.0) Time dedicated: June 20th - August 6th. Test on August 8th. In June I spent like 4-6 hours studying everyday (no day off) and...

In need for some studying advice :(
Hey guys, my test is in about 2 weeks now and I feel pretty ok with bio, qr, gen chem, and pat. However, I've been pushing aside ochem until recently. I have gone through chad's ochem videos twice and took good notes. I started to get confident in ochem after chads but then I did around 100 questions on DAT destroyer for ochem and I got destroyed (pretty much getting 90% incorrect). I know that dat destroyer is known to be overkill but I am getting a bit scared now that I have about 2 weeks left. I have gotten A's on both my ochem classes at ucla. However, my ochem classes did not really go too in depth for the mechanisms ...

DAT Breakdown 8/30/13
Okay guys so I decided to make a breakdown to help others succeed and because this site has been so helpful to me so I thought I would do the best I can to return the favor. [/IMG] This breakdown will be detailed only to a point where each point is necessary. First off, I think my background education will be relevant to the amount of studying time available to me and how I managed to compensate for the lack of time. So I just finished my first year of college and only took general bio/chem and organic chemistry in the summer that supplied relevant info regarding DAT science. I only had about 3 weeks to study as wel...
