Bill Gates Continues ‘God’s Work’, Third World Vaccine Workers Shot Dead
CONCLUSION It appears that Mr. Gates will go to any lengths to vaccinate the world, even if the world makes it very clear that they do not want his vaccines. Rather than vaccinating more children, if he was such a humanitarian, why has he allowed vulnerable, sick children to be dumped in the middle of nowhere to die? Surely the world would applaud him far more loudly if he spent his millions making sure that any vaccine casualties were sufficiently cared for.   References 1. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/bill-gates/9812672/… 2. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/dec/18/polio… 3. http://www.guardi...

Intracellular Sorting and Trafficking of Cytomegalovirus Proteins during Permissive Infection
from Anamaris M. Colberg-Poley and Chad D. Williamson writing in Cytomegaloviruses: From Molecular Pathogenesis to Intervention:As with most DNA viruses, which require nuclear and cytoplasmic phases of virion maturation, proper and coordinated trafficking of viral proteins is crucial for the CMV lifecycle. Trafficking of CMV proteins enables jumpstarting its infection, partly determines whether lytic or latent infection is established, promotes nuclear and cytoplasmic assembly of virions, and enhances their stability and egress. To allow complex processes including viral DNA replication, packaging, nuclear and cytoplasmic ...

This is How Vaccine Injuries to African Children Are Covered Up
CONCLUSION Today, the latest news from Gouro is that 40 children remain paralyzed in hospitals in both Chad and Tunisia, and a further 56 remain ill in the village of Gouro. However, news from Ecoterra International on February 9, 2013, said that the new heath minister wants to send them back home to their ill-equipped village. [12] Until our intervention, there had been no publicity about the serious vaccine injuries in Chad. However, since our articles were published, there has been a flurry of worldwide media attention, including an extremely biased report in the Guardian UK telling the world that MenAfriVac is a wonder...

Visualization of Healthcare Data, DocGraph, and Open Source — #HITsm Chat Highlights
Topic One: How can we leverage referral and collaboration information in #HealthIT software? What is DocGraph good for? T1. The interesting thing for me about Docgraph is that it doesn’t just show connection between docs, but flow/directionality of pts. #hitsm — Leonard Kish (@leonardkish) February 8, 2013 T1: I’d like to see how many referrals go outside local regions. Is it mostly local or are we becoming more of a national system?#HITsm — EMR, EHR and HIT(@ehrandhit) February 8, 2013  T1: back to the topic: what if #healthIT graph could be an eye opener to docs on their activities? They may be unaware...

LA Times' Pseudo Journalism
I have believed for a long time that one of the major reasons our healthcare system has sunk so far is the public knows so little. They are fed endless misinformation and downright lies by politicians and our so-called journalists,  while the public blames greedy insurance companies with 40% profit margins. The LA Times has dumped the latest pile of journalistic malpractice on us; So many problems with this piece of agenda propaganda, possibly the worst:"For those patients who have insurance, getting the lower price would typically mean withholding that information from the hospital or clinic. Experts warn that doing ...

The Next Generation of Doctors – #HITsm Chat Highlights
The theme for today’s chat was “The Next Generation of Doctors.” When I read this, I wasn’t sure what to expect. It definitely sounded like an interesting topic, and it proved to be one. Here are the questions that were asked, and some of my favorite responses: Topic One: Who are the emerging leaders you admire for their ideas in shaping the future of medicine? Why? Share resources! T1: A leader I admire is @erictopol as he is showing the way to a new personal healthcare & how to do it. Vision + Practical Use. #HITsm — Jon Mertz (@jonmertz) January 25, 2013 T1: I’m pretty inspired by th...

African Children Still Paralyzed After Vaccines, Government Says “All in Their Head”
CONCLUSION We have yet to see the full outcome of the MenAfriVac vaccine tragedy. There is little doubt that these children are very sick and may need lifelong care and attention. They will likely be returned home, if they recover sufficiently, without adequate care and attention and their parents left without help or support to care for their children’s disabilities alone. Unfortunately, many third world countries do not have access to basic equipment such as wheelchairs that we in the Western world take for granted. Surely it is now time for the Chadian government and the organizations involved to stop trying to cover ...
