Multiple questions regarding pharmacist practice
Hey guys. Warning beforehand. These are some questions I came across over the past few months. It’s going to be long, and I’m a newbie—an overthinking one especially! so if it seems dumb to you, please don’t waste your time. I thank u all in advance for any help! 1) when i get rxs for like naproxen or ibuprofen and the pt is already on aspirin 81, i never call lol. I call on class D and x interactions. Question for practicing pharmacists on therapeutic duplication
hello folks! I got an rx for aspirin 81 mg and aspirin 325 mg 1 t po prn from the same dr. One would be for cardioprotection and the other most likely for pain? The doctor never returned my call nor picked up.... Question for practicing pharmacists on therapeutic duplication (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Aspirin toxicity
FREE 150 SPOILER ALERT: I will be forever grateful if someone clarifies a timeline of aspirin toxicity (i.e. going from respiratory alkalosis to metabolic acidosis). Just did the free 150 where someone with 3 hours post aspirin overdose presents with metabolic acidosis. On the other hand, Uworld clearly states that the 12 hours is the transition (Source: Student Doctor Network)
