The modifying role of major cardiovascular risk factors in the association between retirement and cardiovascular disease: Results from SHARE Portugal
CONCLUSIONS: Our findings suggest that retirement and retirement age may be beneficial or harmful, respectively, in the presence or absence of major risk factors for heart disease and stroke.
