Post Hysterectomy Emotion Roller Coaster – Elizabeth’s story

Sourced from The Hysterectomy Association: Hysterectomy Association - Hysterectomy Association - hysterectomy, menopause and hormone replacement therapy (hrt) information and support for women. Hi. I am 28, I had my hysterectomy when I was 27 years old and it did not bother me at first. 6 months after my hysterectomy I totally lost it. I cried often and felt alone in the world and as if no one cared. I am married and have been for 10 years. Knowing that I could never have another child and it progressed to a lot more. When I was around new born babies it made my breast hurt if they cried and made me cry as well. I got very depressed and almost pushed my husband completely away. I couldn’t describe to no-one the pain I was feeling cause no one knew. I knew when it got to the point of not wanting to deal with my own kids it was time to wake up from the nightmare and do something about it. I take it one day at a time and try very hard to make it a shinning day even if it is not shinning. Praying will get you through anything. God knows what to do for us. *************************************************************** Now available on our online store and all other online book store’s.
