Conclusions
Nonsurgical stone removal usually improved symptoms and preserved pancreatic exocrine function. Nonsurgical treatment with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy followed by endoscopic treatment if needed is useful as initial management for pancreatolithiasis.
