Association Between Helicobacter pylori and Periampullary and Pancreatic Cancer: a Case –Control Study
ConclusionThere was no association betweenH. pylori infection and Cag A seropositivity with periampullary and pancreatic cancers. The various tumour characteristics were also not associated withH. pylori infection. Thus, routine eradication ofH. pylori infection may not be recommended in periampullary and pancreatic cancers.
