Penn Medicine, Wistar Institute get $11.7M NCI grant to develop potential melanoma treatments

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) awarded Penn Medicine and The Wistar Institute $11.7 million to support melanoma research. The five-year award from the NCI's Specialized Programs of Research Excellence will be used to fund three new melanoma research projects.
