Resveratrol activates PI3K/AKT to reduce myocardial cell apoptosis and mitochondrial oxidative damage caused by myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury

In conclusion, our study shows that resveratrol can reduce ROS in cardiomyocytes by PI3K/AKT signaling pathway activation, and effectively inhibit the apoptosis of cardiomyocytes, thus having a direct protective effect on cardiomyocytes under SR.PMID:34107386 | DOI:10.1016/j.acthis.2021.151739
