I ' d like to thank the folks who have contacted me to offer feedback on my letters to Senator Burr and NCDHHS Secretary, Mandy Cohen . . . and support for my situation.  One complement went right to my heart and I want to share it here. " You know there ' s so much out there on social media - you cannot always tell what is true and what isn ' t. This is the first time that I ' ve read something online that I actually have first-hand knowledge of . . . because I was there and I stood beside you . . . and this is so REAL and so true . . . and you just NAILED all of it. " As trillions of taxpayer dollars fly over our heads and into private coffers/CEO ' s bonuses, doctors and nurses in North Carolina need HELP now. We need to be " saving " something besides the hospital. We need to be worrying about the people under the roof. Medical Whistleblower protection is something that needs to be universal - not just a perk of being Federally employed. It needs to not be something that can so easily be legally hidden by the " without cause " termination clause of a physician ' s contract . . . and it should extend to ANY medical/nursing/ancillary staff member working (as an employee or contractor) at a hospital or facility accepting Medicare and Medicaid. CMS and JCAHO need toenforce their own rules - instead ofDUMPING the people who report on other people ' s desks.The " journey to zero " (harm) starts there.One more thing:  Babies/children (Medicaid pati...
