Conclusion: Inhalation aromatherapy is effective in improving sleep problems such as insomnia. Therefore, it is essential to develop specific guidelines for the efficient inhalation of aromatherapy. Ethics and dissemination: Ethical approval is not required because individual patient data are not included.
