Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is one of the most lethal malignancies. While the extracellular matrix component  plays an integral role in PDAC pathogenesis and mediating chemoresistance, its role in predicting response to chemotherapy in patients with PDAC remains unclear.
