The results of a single-center experience with heartmate 3 in a biventricular configuration
Right ventricular failure after left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation is a difficult problem. One solution is implantation of continuous flow ventricular assist devices in a biventricular configuration. Disappointing survival and a concerning incidence of right-sided pump thrombosis has been previously reported.
