Johns Hopkins University Bio Research Experiences for Undergraduates: Visualization of Macromolecules in Biological Research The JHU BioREU is a Research Experiences for Undergraduates Site, funded by the National Science Foundation.  The 10-week summer program is designed to provide an intensive, mentored research experience for undergraduates, especially those attending institutions with limited research opportunities. The focus of our REU program is VISUALIZATION OF MACROMOLECULES IN BIOLOGICAL RESEARCH. Many of the projects pursued by REU participants will employ imaging and structural techniques to study important biological systems and phenomena. Faculty mentors are drawn from the CMDB program faculty.
