Effect of Massa Medicata Fermentata on the Gut Microbiota of Dyspepsia Mice Based on 16S rRNA Technique.

This study analyzes the effect of MMF on intestinal microorganisms in dyspepsia mice based on 16S rRNA technology. We take a dyspepsia model caused by a high-protein, high-calorie, high-fat diet. The 60 specific-pathogen free Kunming (SPF KM) mice were randomly divided into a model group (n=12), an MMF group (LSQ group, n=12), a Jianweixiaoshi group (JWXS group, n=12), a domperidone group (DP group, n=12), and a blank group (n=12). On the seventh day of administration, mice were fasted and deprived of water. After 24 h, take the second feces of stress defecation in mice under strict aseptic conditions and quickly transfer them to a sterile cryotube. This study comprehensively evaluates the α-diversity, β-diversity, flora abundance and composition of each group of mice's intestinal microorganisms, and their correlation with functional dyspepsia based on the 16S rRNA gene sequencing technology. After modeling, some dyspepsia reactions, proximal gastric relaxation reduction, and intestinal microflora changes were noted. Dyspepsia mice showed dyspepsia reactions and proximal gastric relaxation reduction, characterized by a significant decrease of contents of gastrin (P

ConclusionsPD patients report more prevalent and severe GI dysfunction, although our cohort comprised of many later-stage participants. Earlier recognition of GI dysfunction in PD provides the opportunity to direct treatment for chronic pain and constipation, promote physical activity and rationalise PD therapies for optimal patient care.

Abstract The fruit of Crataegus dahurica Koehne was used to treat the disease of infantile indigestion and dyspepsia as an ethnic medicine and food. As a continuous work on finding the active constituents from the edible herbs, four new biphenyls derivatives ( 1-4 ), together with two known compounds ( 5-6 ), were obtained from the petroleum ether fraction of the fruits of C. dahurica . Their structures were determined by the extensive 1D and 2D NMR spectra and HR MS spectrometry.  Furthermore, the anti-inflammatory activities of all the isolated compounds were investigated, in which compound 4 showed moderat...

(Natural News) Functional dyspepsia (DP) is a term used to refer to symptoms which affect the gastrointestinal tract. Although these symptoms are fairly common and are also associated with other diseases, they fall under FD when they have no apparent cause. According to studies, about 15 to 30 percent of the world’s population is affected by this...

DIABETIC GASTROPARESIS. Endocr Rev. 2019 May 13;: Authors: Bharucha AE, Kudva YC, Prichard DO Abstract This review covers the epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical features, diagnosis, and management of diabetic gastroparesis, and more broadly diabetic gastroenteropathy, which encompasses all the gastrointestinal manifestations of diabetes mellitus (DM). Up to 50% of patients with type 1 and 2 DM and suboptimal glycemic control have delayed gastric emptying (GE), which can be documented with scintigraphy, 13 C-breath tests, or a wireless motility capsule; the remainder have normal or rapid GE. Many p...
