CONCLUSION Increased pre-operative presepsin independently predicted 30-day MACCE in CAD patients undergoing major noncardiac surgery. Complementing cardiovascular risk prediction by inflammatory biomarkers, such as presepsin, offers potential to improve peri-operative care.
