ConclusionGiven the negative long-term trajectories in specific lifestyles and adherence to pharmacological treatments, cardiac rehabilitation programs are suggested to provide repeated psychological interventions aimed at fostering patients ’ capabilities to self-regulate their habitual behaviors.
