Prognosis Discordance Between Physicians and Families Regarding Patients' Functional Recovery After Severe Acute Brain Injury (RP301)

Patients with severe acute brain injury (SABI) face substantial prognostic uncertainty. Families are charged with making treatment decisions weighing death versus survival in a dependent state. Our goal was to understand discrepancies in prognostic expectations between physicians and families regarding patients' functional recovery.
