Celiac disease: A subtle clue for a common disease

To the Editor: Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease resulting from an immune reaction to gluten that has a prevalence of 1% in the United States.1 Here, we present a unique case of celiac disease in a patient that initially presented with imaging findings of mesenteric fat stranding and hyperemia with prominent associated lymph nodes and small bowel hyperemia. .
