Pro-inflammatory cytokines, oxidative stress and diffuse coronary reocclusions in elderly patients after coronary stenting.

CONCLUSIONS: The inflammatory and oxidative stress biomarkers could be considered as potential non-invasive diagnostic, predictive, prognostic and therapeutic molecular biomarkers for long diffuse reocclusions in the elderly patients after implantations of multiple stents, long stents and small-diameter stents.
