Recent graduate wanting to study medicine in scotland. Any advice?

Dear All I over the next year ill be preparing myself to make an application to medical school next October. I am in need of some advice. I have a 2:1 in Law and have completed the Legal Practice Course in England. After all of my studies and experience in this field I know the job isn't for me. At university I decided that I would apply to med school so I decided to get some experience under my belt. I volunteered at a hospital near to my university and enjoyed every minute of it. I also spent a week shadowing a local GP and registrar. Everything was going well until.... I out that the NHS bursary didn't apply to students from Scotland. This along with the increase in tuition fees ended all hope of me becoming a doctor in England. After a disappointing year of my life waisted on the LPC I have decided that I will at least try to get into medical school. This is where I need some help. I don't have any science SQA Highers or any A level equivalent and my pervious SQA Higers are terrible (mitigating circumstances and external influences impacted on my academic ability at high school. I had to get an HND and was very lucky to land a place at a good university). I have spoken to one med school in Scotland so far. They have stated that they would consider me without any Chemistry or Biology A levels/Highers as my degree is (apparently) enough. I am yet to contact the other medical schools in Scotland.
