Effectiveness of mesodiencephalic modulation in treatment of XDR TB patients with concomitant type II diabetes mellitus
Conclusion: We established that mobilization of acute-phase proteins responsible for early reactions to infection was less pronounced in patients with XDR TB/DM than in patients without DM. The application of MDM turned progressive course of TB into involutive by correction of protein-energy deficiency.
