Paraneoplastic neurologic syndromes are rare but well described presentation of certain malignancies in both children and adults. Cerebellar dysfunction is a common paraneoplastic presentation and has been previously reported in association with small cell lung cancer, breast cancers, ovarian tumors, renal cell carcinoma, follicular lymphoma, and Hodgkin ’s lymphoma. There are only a handful of case reports with the association of paraneoplastic neurologic presentation with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma including Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL).

HGSOC tumors exhibit genomic instability with frequent alterations in the protein kinome; however, only a small fraction of the kinome has been therapeutically targeted in HGSOC. CONCLUSIONS: These studies demonstrate that APOBEC3B is overexpressed in a subset of CCOC and, contrary to initial expectations, associated with improved (not worse) clinical outcomes. A likely molecular explanation is that DNA damage caused APOBEC3B sensitizes cells to additional genotoxic stress by cisplatin. Thus, APOBEC3B is a molecular determinant and a candidate predictive biomarker of the therapeutic response to platinum-based chemotherapy. CONCLUSIONS: ACB is not inferior to CNB in diagnosing primary tubo-ovarian cancer; the two methods complement each other. ACB can substitute CNB in diagnosing primary tubo-ovarian cancer in selected PC patients. ACB is superior to a CA125/CEA ratio of>25 in diagnosing primary tubo-ovarian cancer. This report is the first to link components of a unique β-catenin+ endometrioid carcinogenic sequence in the fallopian tube.
