45.2 are there alternative ways to identify children with bipolar disorder?

Although structured diagnostic interviews have been developed for research studies to aid in the diagnosis of pediatric bipolar disorder (BD), these tools are not practical to use in clinical practice, because they are lengthy, costly, and not widely available. As a result, simpler diagnostic aids are needed to help identify children who may have pediatric BD. This presentation aims to discuss alternative ways of identifying children with BD.
