Use of Bone Morphogenetic Protein in Pediatric Cranioplasty With Pre- and Postoperative Radiation Therapy
Conclusion:
The use of BMP has the potential to aid in bone generation for high-risk calvarial defects. It can be safe and efficacious to use in the pediatric population; however, future studies should be done to determine the safest and most effective dosing of BMP.
