Airway Resistance Caused by Sphingomyelin Synthase 2 Insufficiency in Response to Cigarette Smoke.
CONCLUSIONS: Our study demonstrates that smoke-regulated Sgms2 gene expression influences key COPD features in mice including airway resistance, AKT signaling and protease production.
