The project will involve data collection and analysis on working children in 10 countries and updates on country-level statistics covering child work and education participation rates in approximately 100 countries. In the area of data collection and analysis, the Grantee will work cooperatively with the 10 host governments to (1) conduct research through surveys collecting data on children’s work and measuring child labor at the national or sector-level; (2) analyze survey data and produce survey reports; (3) develop policy appraisals; (4) prepare and publish public-use data files; and (5) build capacity of national statistical offices to conduct research and analyze data on child labor.
