The use of 68 Ga-PET/CT PSMA in the staging of primary and suspected recurrent renal cell carcinoma

Conclusions68Ga-PSMA PET/CT directly changed management in 42.1% of cases. Strongest detection rates occurred in those patients with clear cell RCC. The results of this study suggest there may be merit in the use of the modality in the staging of RCC. Further analysis, both with respect to histological confirmation, efficacy and cost-benefit, is required to determine whether there is a role for routine68Ga-PSMA PET/CT imaging.

We review the effect of race on risk-stratification and discuss studies of active surveillance in the African American (AA) population. For bladder cancer, race- and gender- associated differences in incidence, sex hormone pathways. For renal cell carcinoma (RCC), disparities in incidence, genetic factors, tumor pathology, time to presentation, and disease specific survival have been observed.

Conclusion: It was shown that metastasectomy would have additional contribution on prognosis in patients with prolonged DFI, unilateral metastases, and less than 3 radioimagistic detectable metastases. We presented our experience on pulmonary metastasectomy in urogenital tumors.
