Do changing trends in tonsil surgery affect hemorrhage rates? A longitudinal study covering 1,452,637 procedures
ConclusionsChanging trends in tonsil surgery are not associated with increased rates of bleeding complications. Hemorrhage following tonsil surgery is significantly related to age and gender and this should be noted when reported hemorrhage rates in the literature are appraised by the reader.
