Avocado Bacon Burger

Every once in a while, it’s nice to have a burger filled with plenty of high-fat fillings. I filled mine with sliced avocado, thinly-sliced onion, bacon, sliced goat cheese, and hamburger, topped with my favorite sriracha mayonnaise, but you can choose your own favorite fillings. (Sriracha mayonnaise = 1 part sriracha sauce to 4 parts mayonnaise.) Unlike conventional burgers, burgers made without grains and with ingredients that are fat-rich make this sort of burger exceptionally filling. I dare you to completely finish just one. Makes two hamburger buns for one burger 1/2 cup almond flour 1 tablespoon ground psyllium seed 1 egg 1/4 cup water Dash sea salt Optional: 1 teaspoon sesame seeds Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. In medium bowl, combine almond flour, psyllium seed, egg, water, salt and mix thoroughly. Divide dough into two, flattening to approximately 1/2-inch thickness. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow too cool. Fill with your choice of ingredients. The post Avocado Bacon Burger appeared first on Dr. William Davis.
