The GAMSAT is an admissions test. It is very science-focussed (I believe it requires at least A-level equivalent knowledge.) I don't know much about it, but there are plenty of forum threads with more information about it.
All GEM (graduate entry medicine) programmes will require some form of admissions test - and I think the majority require GAMSAT - especially those that don't specify a requirement for a science undergraduate degree. There are some GEM programmes that require UKCAT instead. I am not sure if there are any GEM programmes that require BMAT - but I don't think so.
Cambridge doesn't require the sitting of an admissions exam. But I don't know if they accept international students on their GEM ...
