Treatment stratification of respiratory syncytial virus infection in allogeneic stem cell transplantation
Allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) remains the only curative treatment for many haematological conditions.1 Despite gradually improving outcomes over time the success of the procedure is hindered by infectious complications that along with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) remain the main cause of non-relapse morbidity and mortality.2,3
