Conclusions: : Compared with usingpropofol/midazolam, using etomidate/midazolam for screening colonoscopies results in more stablehemodynamic responses in patients of all ages; therefore, we recommend using etomidate/midazolamfor colonoscopies in patients with cardiovascluar risk factors.
