Characterization of intentional-abuse venlafaxine exposures reported to poison control centers in the United States.
CONCLUSION: The prevalence of venlafaxine abuse reported to poison control centers has decreased. Medical outcomes are usually not serious. Clinicians should be aware that non-medical use is possible but infrequently reported to poison control centers.
